Originally from New England, Oldmixon settled in ÌÒ»¨Ö±²¥ in 2006 after moving to work for the University of ÌÒ»¨Ö±²¥ system as a Residence Hall Director at the University of ÌÒ»¨Ö±²¥ Fairbanks. In 2007, she joined the Office of Admissions and the Registrar as its Associate Director. She then served as Director of Undergraduate Recruitment from 2008-2013 before moving to the Department of Finance in the University of ÌÒ»¨Ö±²¥ system office. Since 2013, in addition to the 529 education savings programs, she has directed the University of ÌÒ»¨Ö±²¥ Scholars and President’s Scholarship programs.

Oldmixon holds a B.A. in American Studies from Saint Michael’s College (2000) and an M.Ed. in Higher Education Administration and Student Affairs (HESA) from the University of Vermont (2005).
