    UAS Professor X瘫'unei Lance Twitchell Nominated for Emmy Award

    Dr. Twitchell is a writer and advisor for the animated PBS Kids program Molly of Denali, nominated by the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (NATAS) for the third annual Children's & Family Emmy庐 Awards. The awards ceremonies are scheduled to take place in Los Angeles on March 15, 2025.

    Dr. Carlee Simon Appointed Dean of the UAS School of Education

    The University of 桃花直播 Southeast has appointed Dr. Carlee Simon as the Dean of the School of Education. Dr. Simon has been serving as interim dean. During that time, she has guided the school through the CAEP accreditation process. Her work has focused on fostering student success and strengthening community engagement.

    Professor Laura Conner appointed UAF's interim vice chancellor for research

    In addition to her research faculty position, Conner currently serves as associate director of the UAF Geophysical Institute. She has a doctorate in ecology and evolutionary biology from the University of Arizona. Her work since earning her doctorate in 2007 has focused on education research, including science identity and interdisciplinary learning at the boundary of art and science. She will start her new position on Jan. 12.
